The versatile BD-5300S Blu-ray Disc™ recordable/rewritable drive from Sony　Optiarc gives you the best of all worlds. Writing at 12x, it can record a full Single layer BD-R (25Gb) in 8 mins!!. BD-R DL(50Gb) disc can be written with 10x within 20 mins. The drive can also record 8.5GB/4.7GB DVDs and common rewritable CDs to meet even more of your needs. Record a variety of video, ranging from HDV/AVCHD camcorders　to Blu-ray Discs and keep the video in its native HD resolution, or convert to standard definition and record a DVD.
